Medical Exchange Opportunity in Kenya

Each year a multi-specialty medical team from Omaha travels to Naivasha, Kenya, a city of 500,000 residents. Naivasha is 60 km northwest of Nairobi in the rift valley of Kenya.

We spend two weeks working with and training the Kenyan doctors and nurses at the District Hospital. We would like to have volunteers in a variety of fields to help with this. The specialties we are looking for include: Surgeons, OB/GYN physicians, pediatricians, internal medicine physicians, radiologists, anesthesia personnel, peri-op nurses, OB nurses, surgical nurses and biomedical engineers.
