In order to address the nation wide shortage of Biomedical Technology Service Technicians in the hospital, vendor and manufacturer sectors, the Heartland Biomedical Association has established the HBA Scholarship with Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, IA. The HBA Scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in the Associate of Applied Science Electronic Engineering Technology program at IWCC and are interested in pursuing a career in the biomedical technology field.
